About Daniel
Daniel is a freelance writer, digital marketer, and J.R.R. Tolkien enthusiast based out of Toronto, Ontario. While he’s been diligently writing away on the subject of personal finance (amongst other things) for the last two years, he does his best to make seemingly complicated topics accessible for the average person.
In 2016, he graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University, and is currently working as a content writer for two FinTech brands, MoneyKey and CreditFresh. Daniel has also previously written for companies in the staffing industry, covering topics surrounding the shifting landscape of the U.S. and Canadian workforce.
His love of the written word started with a fascination (obsession) with the work of Tolkien in the 7th grade and grew from there. When he’s not writing great content, you’ll likely find him in the kitchen, watching soccer, or commiserating with someone over the state of the Maple Leafs.
